Oktoberfest, it’s coming…

Ok, so many of you are not as into Marzen, or Oktoberfest Beers as I am. Besides the CBH Oktoberfest that Dave Fitch has brewed for us here, and that is fermenting quite nicely in the Brew pub as you read this, we have already acquired the following Oktoberfest beers so might enjoy flights to compare and contrast these great beers alongside our own offering. (is that a run on sentence?)

  1. Ayinger Oktoberfest
  2. Thomas Hoooker Oktoberfest
  3. Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest
  4. Back East Oktoberfest
  5. Hoff Brau Oktoberfest
  6. Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen
  7. Two Roads Ok2berfest

Of course I could go into some detail on the history and beginning of Oktoberfest, but then I can also just link you to Wikipedia to regurgitate that information and save myself from becoming a plagiarist. At the Cambridge House Brew Pub we will start our Oktoberfest on Friday, September 18th. There will be four of the beers listed above on tap along with our own Oktoberfest. We will also have a tremendous musician playing on our stage that night and you can find out more about Amanda Lee Peers on our Facebook event.

Please try an Oktoberfest flight, 5 samples of these magnificent beers. Each one is a little different and you might just find the one you really enjoy. You will also be able to pair these delightful beers with the German specials our kitchen is cooking up to add another great dimension to your visit to our Brewpub.  If you only click on one link in this post, please make it the Hoff Brau Oktoberfest one!

Who knows you may leave our pub with a greater appreciation for this classic style of beer associated the world over with a great time!
