It is starting to feel like Spring outside and I am starting to think about warm days on our patio with a cold beer.
Next week on Wednesday the 26th we will be celebrating our 9th Birthday here at the Cambridge House! Come on by and try some very tasty appetizer specials. We will also be pouring a cask of something special! The cask will be tapped around 5pm and will go fast, so come early to make sure you get a pint.
Nothing says Spring more than a classic Bock Lager. So, two weeks ago we brewed ‘Rock Bock’. We started with lots of rich Munich malts and then added Saaz and Tettenang hops. Then, during the boil we added red hot granite stones straight into the kettle. The hot rocks created intense caramel flavors which will compliment the beers malt profile. It will be on tap in two weeks.
To get ready for the hot days ahead we just brewed a new beer which will be perfect for sipping on the patio. It is a traditional Pilsner Lager. Brewed almost entirely with Pilsner malt and German ‘nobel’ hops and lagered for a few weeks this beer will surely be a thirst quencher.
